Bringing the Team Together
To mark Jeans for Genes Day, the DVT Mcleods NSW team came together on Thursday, 6 August 2026 for a morning tea across our NSW offices, raising awareness and showing support for a great cause.
The morning tea provides an opportunity to learn more about the cause while enjoying light snacks and refreshments with colleagues.
As part of the morning, the team will watch a selection of inspiring videos featuring the 2026 Faces of Jeans for Genes, including the stories of Colton, Spencer and Ruby.
Their stories offer an important reminder of the children and families at the heart of the campaign and the reasons for continued investment in genetic research matters.
Raising Awareness Through Stories
Jeans for Genes Day is about more than fundraising. It is also an opportunity to increase awareness of the challenges faced by children living with genetic conditions and families who support them.
By sharing these stories and creating conversations in the workplace, we can help bring greater attention to the importance of medical research and the impact it can have on diagnosis, treatment and future possibilities.
