DVT Mcleods was proud to support the Annual Charity Lunch – Sydney, held on 7 August 2026 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
Hosted and initiated by Hymans Valuers and Auctioneers, the Annual Charity Lunch has a longstanding tradition of supporting charitable organisations that assist people with disabilities. Over the years, the event has brought together businesses, professionals and community supporters with a shared goal of raising funds for causes that make a meaningful difference.
DVT Mcleods has supported this important initiative since 2002, reflecting a long-term commitment to the event and the charitable work it helps fund.
Over the years, DVT Mcleods’ involvement has gone beyond simply attending the lunch. Legacy Founder, Riad Tayeh, has served as a committee member, contributing directly to the event’s continued success and helping strengthen the relationship between DVT Mcleods and the wider business community supporting the initiative.
Each year, DVT Mcleods has also purchased one or two tables and invited valued referrers to attend alongside the team. This has created an opportunity to support the cause while bringing together professional relationships in an environment centred on generosity, community and shared purpose.
The team has also consistently taken an actively participated in the fundraising activities held throughout the day, including auctions, donations and other initiatives designed to maximise support for the chosen charities.
In 2026, DVT Mcleods has taken its commitment a step further.
For the first time, the firm has joined the Annual Charity Lunch as a National Partner, sponsoring all three events held across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Following the successful Melbourne event on 25 June 2026, the Sydney lunch marked the second event in this year’s national program, with Brisbane still to come.
This expanded partnership represents an important milestone in DVT Mcleods’ long association with the event. After more than two decades of support, becoming a National Partner reflects the firm’s desire to contribute on a broader scale and help extend the impact of the initiative across multiple cities.
The Sydney event once again provided an opportunity for attendees to come together, support worthwhile causes and participate in fundraising activities that contribute directly to organisations helping people with disabilities.
